This 2-day tour takes you from Ouarzazate across spectacular southern Moroccan landscapes to the Sahara Desert (Merzouga), spending a night under the dunes at a desert camp and continuing the next day through the diverse terrain of central Morocco before arriving in Fes.

Day 1 Ouarzazate → Merzouga Desert:

Morning Departure:

Leave Ouarzazate early with a scenic route through the Skoura Oasis (palm groves and kasbahs).
Cross the Valley of the Roses and enjoy local rose products.

Midday to Afternoon:

Continue via Dades Valley and Todra Gorges with photo and exploration stops. and Lunch en route near Erfoud / Rissani, a center for fossils and dates.
Arrival at Merzouga in the late afternoon

Day 2 — Merzouga → Fes:

Sunrise:

Optional early walk or camel ride to witness the sunrise over the dunes.

Journey to Fes:

• Depart desert and head north through the Ziz Valley with palm groves and dramatic scenery.
• Stop in Midelt for lunch (mountain town in the Middle Atlas).
• Continue through cedar forests where Barbary macaques may be seen.
• Cross Ifrane (nicknamed “Little Switzerland” for its European-style buildings) before arrival in Fes in the evening.
